Welcome to the Maheshwar Charitable Foundation's website.  Our organization is dedicated to the cause of improving the life of our fellow brothers and sisters in whatever way possible.  We engage this ideal in many different areas.  To just name a few of our projects, we have started and helped build and maintain hospitals in India; provided scholarships to young men and women seeking higher education; and assisted in running a school for the orphans.  But our primary focus has been providing high quality medical care to the poor and the needy free of any cost.

All the donations received are used for the benefit of the poor. Your foundation has no salaries, fund-raising or other administrative expense. All the volunteers pay for their own travel. Donations are tax deductible under the IRS guidelines.

We hope you will take a few minutes and explore our site.  We have several areas for you to explore, ranging from previous Medical Missions to our ever growing list of volunteers.  Thank you for visiting our site, and we hope to hear from you soon.

Recently the MC Foundation was privy to an excellent expository article in the Florida Today Newspaper. Please take a look.

A personal message from the Chairman:

It is traditional to have titles for the persons involved in every organization. e. g President, Chairman etc.. I feel privileged to be one of the Honorary Servants of this great Foundation. The past twelve years in the evolution of your Foundation have taught me a very valuable lesson. i. e. with God's Grace and the focused efforts of the volunteers, wonderful things can be accomplished. The main focus of Maheshwar Foundation's work has been Charity Medical Missions in India and elsewhere and this in great part is due to the efforts of Dr. Mukesh Aggarwal, MD, Dr. William Dunn, MD, Dr. Richard Gosselin, MD, Dr. Harold Kushner, MD, Dr. Sheela Kashkari MD, Dr. Silas Charles MD and many other physicians, surgeons and Nurses from the United States, United Kingdom, India and other countries. All these volunteers have done an outstanding job on every mission and set a standard of quality medical care in distant lands. They have also proved to be goodwill ambassadors of their respective country and profession. The real credit for the success and integrity of Maheshwar Foundation goes to the volunteers and supporters.

Maheshwar Foundation has also been involved in promoting educational projects and support of orphanages. It has been a wonderful realization that while serving others we are really helping ourselves and setting a good example for our children and community. My life has been tremendously enriched by just being a servant. More knowledgeable and better dedicated persons from all walks of life have guided me in my pursuit for excellence and commitment to selfless service. My sincerest thanks to everyone who has ever done any charitable work ( with any organization ) or just thought of it.

A focused thought to do something positive IS SUPER-ENERGY.

My dream is to see everyone spend some time doing something nice for persons outside one's own family and circle of friends. Rather than dwelling on the magnitude of the problems surrounding our brothers and sisters worldwide, let's focus on what each one of us can do. No man is too poor or too weak to help. As the saying goes " THE JOURNEY OF A THOUSAND MILES STARTS WITH THE FIRST STEP'.
